Hey hey

I have one semester to go for my Multimedia course (it was a one year tafe course anyway ), after that I'm thinking of doing BA - Digtal Art at RMIT. BUT, before I finalize my decision I really, really NEED to ask around and find out what the course is like.

Right now, in order to achieve my goals (to create reaalllly cool digital paintings, like those you would see in books published by Ballistic) I really need to work on and master things like anatomy, colour, lighting/shading, form, composition, etc. And I'm not sure if the Digital Art course would help me learn those things. And three years is a long time.

Anyway, finally, the semester is over. Time to DRAW!!!
I need to start building up my portfolio! >:]

Sunday 10th August is the RMIT open day. I will be a volunteer there, talking people into applying for the games courses ^^
You should definitely come!

Hey most of our artists started of not knowing much at all; heck I didn't even know how to use Photoshop before Uni taught me. As long as you show a willingness to learn games art then you will be fine.
